Sara is an experienced advocate for commercial and residential clients on valuation and legal issues. She has experience negotiating real property valuation with county tax assessors and representing taxpayers before boards of equalization, hearing officers, in arbitration, and in superior court. She also advises clients on options to simplify their property taxes, including filing parcel consolidations and preferential assessments, including CUVA and FLPA. Sara stays apprised of legislative developments in Georgia and has testified before state Senate and House committees and subcommittees on proposed property tax legislation.
Sara received her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and her law degree from the Georgia State University College of Law. Sara is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Institute for Professionals in Taxation, the Georgia Association of Assessing Officials, and the National Association of Property Tax Attorneys.
