James (Jimmy) Sarnoff has over 15 years of experience in Property Tax Law representing owners and operators of condominium associations, HOA's, commercial, and industrial properties throughout the State of Illinois. His extensive clientele list includes Fortune 500 Companies, Developers, REIT's, Privately-Held Firms, Property Management Companies, and more.
In 2015, Jimmy was recognized as an Emerging Lawyer by Leading Lawyers Magazine and subsequently named a Leading Lawyer in both 2016 and 2017. Since 2011, he has served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Property Tax Attorneys (NAPTA), where he serves as Secretary. He is a member of the Institute for Professionals in Taxation and co-authors the Illinois Chapter of the American Bar Association's Property Tax Deskbook. Jimmy earned his J.D. from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and his B.A. in Speech Communication from Syracuse University. Jimmy is a devoted husband and father of three children and is very active at the Francis W. Parker School of Chicago, where his children attend.
