Tracy Turner

Mrs. Tracy Turner is a Partner with Brusniak Turner Fine LLP. She earned her undergraduate degree in Communications from the University of Colorado. While at Colorado, she was a four-year letter winner for the women's tennis team earning Big 12 Conference Commissioners Honor Roll each year. Tracy went on to earn her J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 2010.

Tracy represents clients in a wide-range of ad valorem property tax controversies. She specializes in retail, office buildings, multi-family housing, oil and gas, and aircraft property tax litigation, along with business personal property litigation, and special valuation appraisals. She handles tax exemption applications and litigation for religious organizations, charitable organizations, and schools. Tracy testifies before the Texas Senate and House of Representatives committees on taxpayer issues and handles and negotiates property tax abatement agreements.

Tracy is also a member of the 2016-2017 State Bar of Texas Leadership Academy, is the co-author of the Texas chapter of the American Bar Association Desk Book and on the planning committee of the Texas Ad Valorem Legal Seminar. Tracy is currently the Vice Chair of the State Bar of Texas, Property Tax Section and Vice Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section of the Dallas Bar Association. Tracy has also spoken at the State Bar's Property Tax Conference, Ad Valorem Legal Seminar and Institute for Professionals in Taxation. Tracy was selected as a Rising Star for 2021 and 2022, which means that she is a top-rated attorney as recognized by peers. Tracy is also licensed in the state of Oklahoma.
