WATERTOWN — The tax rate has been set for fiscal 2010, and the average residential taxpayer will see a more than $100 increase in his or her property tax bills. That’s the 12th time in the past 13 years that average residential tax bills have increased. Of course, commercial properties also get taxed. In Brusniak's remarks, he alerted executives from the oil and gas industry to the emergence of three crucial cases working their way through the courts in Texas and Oklahoma.
