Chicago Public Schools to levy maximum property tax hike

 Chicago Public Schools has yet to release its budget for the coming year, but on Wednesday, officials said the district will impose the maximum allowed increase to its property tax levy for the second year in a row to help cover a deficit of nearly $700 million and pay for the longer school day.
